Apple MacBook Pro 13 Inch (2010)

An updated processor and graphics chip make this MacBook Pro even more powerful while still delivering all-day battery life.

The Apple Macbook Pro has been recently updated and the upgrades are numerous and through combining advanced NVIDIA integrated graphics technology along with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, the 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro is faster than ever.

The new MacBook Pro features a precision unibody enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, creating a thin and light mobile computing workhorse (less than 1 inch thin and just 4.5 pounds) that's also highly durable. And it includes a 13.3-inch, LED-backlit glass display (instead of an LCD panel) as well as a glass trackpad that doesn't include a button (for larger tracking area) that features Apple's Multi-Touch technology.

The MBP 13 has now increased from 2gb to 4 gb of ram standard. This allows you to multi-task easily without any issues or spend extra money upgrading your ram.

The Geforce 9400M graphics have also improved and now the MBP features the Nvidia GeForce 320M integrated graphics processor with 48 processing cores which will help in graphics and content creation.

Battery Life: The battery lasts longer - it now runs for 9 to 10 hours of use as compared to last year's model which was 7 to 8 hours. Your mileage may vary but it allows you to be mobile for up to 6 hours - depending on what task you're using the computer for. Because it has an inbuilt battery you will have to return to the Apple store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for a replacement, once the battery is exhausted. However, Apple states that the battery will hold 80% of it's charge for up to a 1000 charges which is equivalent to 3 to 4 years of daily use. So it should be a while before you have to go in for that battery replacement.

Hard Drive: The included hard drive is now 250 gb as compared to the previous 160gb.

Display: The Mini display port now supports video and sound with a compatible Mini-DP to HDMI adapter (last year's model only supported video)

Touchpad:  The touchpad remains one giant button that doubles as the touchpad and the mouse button.

Cons
The Apple Macbook lacks the latest Intel Core i5 or i3 processors processors, and anybody paying a premium price for a product, would expect new rather than "old" processors to be part of the configuration. Neverthe I'd still recommended the MBP 13 if you are looking to buy the lightest and most portable Macbook Pro as well as a capable machine in it's own right. However, demanding applications like Skype, Photoshop, Lightroom, iMovie run smoothly.

Adjusting: MBP does not use windows so for those of you who are used to windows may find it difficult to adjust. However apple has set up many videos online to help you along.

•Only two USB ports

•Reflective display

•A bit pricey

All in all Apple Macbook Pro is a good buy and as one onwer of an Apple Mac said "Went Mac and never looking back"
